Lost with no buses

Hi All, I hope that you all had a great Christmas, Mine was quiet the youngest two went done with the bad flu that has been going around and were unwell for most of the hoildays. All are well now.

I have been busy this past week with the kids and their various activities, my son had a race at the weekend that was a bit of pain, as i don't drive we rely on public transport to get about. I had gone online to find which bus went to where we needed to go and come to find that there information was incorrect.

When we got lost and ended up miles from where we needed to be out in the middle of nowhere, i had a stroke of luck when an elderly couple offered to give us a lift. After the race frozen and tired we ended up walking all the way home, which took about three hours, buses seem to go out but not come back.

My son is having a difficult time at the moment, he's come home upset a couple of times this past week, i have been telling him for a while about responsibility and looking after his things as he has lost nearly his whole P.E kit, a coat, pencil case, homework and broken his shoes and his school bag.

He came home upset as we had replaced his bag at the weekend by tuesday it was broke due to some other kids swinging on his back. He said that he's had a enough of losing all his stuff and other kids braking his things, i did ask if these other kids were bullying him, he said no it's just his friends messing about.

The older girls are doing well, and my youngest is going through a phase of hitting and also throughing tantrums if she does not get her own way, which i think stems back from school as i have seen the behaviour and words she is using being used by children in her class.

I have spoken with the teacher who said she is fine at school, but she will keep an eye on things. I think she is just trying to test the boundaries, and i have had to be a lot stricter with her which produces more tears as she doe's not like being told off.
